Parish Picnic Canceled, but...

As most of you discovered, our parish picnic was cancelled last Sunday due to the threat of inclement weather. We were very disappointed that we missed the opportunity to gather for great food and fun as a parish family in celebration of our patronal feast. However, there was one ray of sunshine in the day…the food that had been purchased was donated to Trenton’s Soup Kitchen—a gift of love to the needy as we honored the Mother of the Lord.

We are especially grateful to Dave and Cheryl Uhaze, who were so generous to organize the event, as well to our director of maintenance, Phil Carlini, for the set-up of the tent, tables, and chairs.
