School Update

Thanks to all those parishioners who are supporting our PTA’s Super 50/50 Raffle. Your generosity is a great benefit to our school and will help make our Knight to Remember a success once more.

Our School Board which meets regularly would like to provide you with a few items of interest:

Our recent Open House welcomed 16 families and school tours are ongoing. Our current PreK-8 enrollment is 216.

A new science series for Grades K-5 is approved.

We received a $100,000 Homeland Security Grant. Work is being done to replace the main entrance doors. The newly enhanced entrance will make our building more secure for the safety of our students and staff. This work is in addition to security upgrades that already made in various areas.

Plumbing repairs have recently been made to address problems caused by our aging system. A total replacement of a main pipe will eventually have to be made. We shall soon have to replace the roof over the gym. The installation of new bleachers is postponed until the work on the roof is completed.
