Weekend Of December 6-7
Cardinal Christophe Pierre, Papal Nuncio to the United States has requested your support to the “Capital Campaign for Infrastructure Renewal” of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception—the National Shrine in Washington, D.C. The Shrine’s 60 year old roofs need to be replaced along with other maintenance needs. Mary Immaculate is the Patroness of our country and we shall want to do want we can to maintain “Mary’s House.”  
 
Accordingly, Bishop O’Connell has asked that a second collection be taken up at all Masses, the weekend of December 6-7. Please note that there is not special envelope for this appeal. Any checks should be made payable to “Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Church.” Funds received will be forwarded to the Diocese.
