Thanks to the parents, students, catechists, and assistants, our 2024 Summer Intensive Program was a great success. The students had an enjoyable time while deepening their understanding of their Catholic faith and learning different ways of praying. Attending Mass every morning gave them a valuable learning opportunity and knowing that the Holy Mass is the center of our faith and the source of divine life. Deacon Alan's daily reflections during Mass and guidance in the Stations of the Cross and Adoration were significant contributions. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our Pastor, Msgr. Gervasio, who assigned Deacon Alan to assist in the Religious Education summer program. The students also actively demonstrated their faith by praying for the Church Community, priests, catechists, and their families, as well as for peace in our country.
During the summer program, our students also had the opportunity to demonstrate their altruism by doing a service for a deployed young serviceman. They prepared a care package, showing their commitment to service and their understanding of the importance of helping others.
We also introduced the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade to the Altar servicing.
Thanks to all who contributed to the program's success.
