If you are struggling to pay your energy bills, help is available.
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and Universal Service Fund (USF) have expanded to include more people at higher income levels. For example, a family of four with a monthly income of $9,250 may be eligible and should apply for the USF. (Only the last month of income counts.)
If you are not eligible for LIHEAP or USF, there are moderate-income programs, such as the PAGE Grant and/or NJ SHARES, which may provide the help you need.
