Who do YOU say that I am?

Who do you say that I am? If Jesus were here today and asked us this question, how would we respond? We would need a little time since we would have to consider our current relationship with God. We have to begin to consider the image of God passed on to us by our parents, priests, catechists, and ultimately the culture in which we live. Jesus himself sought to transmit to his hearers a new way of thinking of God, presenting God as a Father, as Love, as Mercy. Every disciple has to answer the Lord’s question. But it should not be a mere recitation of the phrase of the catechism or simple mantra learned as child, because Jesus speak to me today. Who is he in my daily life, in my present circumstances. Fr.
