Everyone is invited to the celebration of Holy Mass to commend to the Lord our parishioners who have died in the past year. The Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
Don’t forget to vote this Tuesday…a most important day for the Garden State! The Catechism (#2239) reminds us that “the duty to vote is one of co-responsibility for society… As Catholics our consciences should be specifically informed as to the greatest moral principles, so that we may vote with them in mind."
Our special Liturgy of the Word for Children will be offered at the 11:00 Mass on Nov. 9, and Nov. 16. All children in Grades K-4 are invited to join us as we hear God’s Word and respond to the Good News of the Gospel!
If you have made a baby blanket during Respect Life Month (October), please bring it to the church this weekend (Nov. 1-2). We will be in the Church Hall at St. Anthony Church and in Holy Family Hall at Our Lady of Sorrows Church after all Masses. We can't wait to see what you've made!
During the this weekend and next, (October 18-19 & 25-26) our Ushers will be taking “attendance” at all Masses as part of our annual “October Count.” These figures will be sent to the diocesan Office of Pastoral Planning. We trust that the counting will not be too much of a distraction to your prayer.
The Lumen Christi Cohort invites all current and retired persons who work or worked in the healthcare professions--physicians, nurses, technicians, chaplains, etc.--to participate in a special White Mass celebration on October 19, at 11:30 AM at St. Raphael's church in Hamilton. Friends and supporters are also welcome!
The Cohort Mission team is asking for volunteers during the mission (held on October 6 -8) to greet and usher people, to direct parking, and to make sure any debris left in the church is picked up. We need your names by September 22 to print name tags! Click here for details.

On September 17 & 18, the priests of our diocese will gather for their annual convocation. Please pray for them during these special days. Since our priests will be away, our Mass schedule on these two days only will be adjusted: at 7:00 AM we will have a Communion Service celebrated by one of our deacons; at 9:00 AM a guest priest will celebrate Mass.
This year (2025-26), the Children's Liturgy of the Word will begin on Sunday, September 28, at the 11:00 AM Mass. The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered for children in Grades K–4 at the 11:00 am Mass on some Sundays of the school year.
