No one would want it to snow at Easter, but we would like you to recall the impact of snow of the winter season when you consider making your Easter gift to the parish. The cost of snow plowing was especially high due to multiple storms and the size of our two church and school campuses. In light of this extraordinary expense, we ask everyone to be extra generous to the parish this Easter. And we thank you!

Those who ordered palm crosses may pick them up on Saturday, March 14, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the garage at Our Lady of Sorrows.

Due to the parish celebration of Confirmation on Saturday, March 28, Confessions will NOT be heard following the 9:00 AM Mass. Confessions WILL be heard at 2:45 PM at St. Anthony Church.

Fr. Daniel Cahill and Fr. Martin O'Reilly will preside at the annual Irish Unity Mass at St. Anthony Church on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00. The flag raising and commemoration ceremony will follow immediately after Mass.

The Lumen Christi Cohort (OLS-SA, St. Gregory the Great, and St. Raphael-Holy Angels) is sponsoring an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin, including a full-sized replica of the shroud, display panels on the history and scientific investigations of the Shroud, and a statue of Jesus based on the three-dimensional data contained in the shroud image. Ash Wednesday, February 18, is a day of fast and abstinence. Ashes will be distributed at all the Masses that day. Click here for the Mass schedule for Ash Wednesday.

On Wedesday, February 11, the Church celebrates the appearance of our Blessed Mother to Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes. Click here for more information.

Lent begins on Wednesday, February 18. We will be collecting blessed palms through February 15, to be burned for use on Ash Wednesday. Containers will be at the doors of both churches. Please bring loose palms only, no plastic bags, paper bags, rubber bands, plastic ties, or clips. Thank you!

Due to the snow storm of January 25, and the cancellation of the Masses that day, the intentions for those Masses have been transferred to a later date. Click here to see the new dates.

Monday, February 2 is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, called Candlemas Day. Click here for more information.

The Memorial of St. Blaise, Bishop & Martyr, is celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 3, with a traditional blessing of throats. Join us for either the 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM Mass, followed in both cases by the blessing of throats!

In light of the impending severe snow storm, all Sunday Masses are CANCELLED. Please do not travel under hazardous conditions. We urge everyone to assist at Mass on Saturday evening: 4:00 pm (St. Anthony) and 5:00 pm (OLS) and to remain at home on Sunday.

Thanks are due for the wonderful work of our liturgy committee members, decorators, and maintenance and office staff who dedicated so many hours of their time to prepare our churches for the Christmas Celebration. We also thank all our liturgical ministers who assisted at the numerous Masses of the Christmas Vigil and Christmas Day

The Liturgy of the Word for Children will be offered at the 11:00 Mass on January 4. All children in Grades K-4 are invited to participate. The Scriptures of the Sunday are presented in a relatable and age appropriate manner.
