Our Lady of Sorrows School has an opening for an Advanced Math Teacher for grades 5 - 8, which is a full time position. As part of their preparation for First Communion our children are reflecting on the important of sharing and generosity as they consider the Gospel event of the boy who offered his two fish and five loaves to Jesus for the feeding of the crowd…a foreshadowing of the Eucharist. Our newly confirmed and their families enjoyed a wonderful brunch last week hosted by the candidates in their first year of preparation following the 11:00 am Mass. We are very grateful for all the work that went into making the reception such a beautiful tribute to the newly confirmed.

This Wednesday, February 5, our Confirmation candidates will have a unique experience in their sacramental preparation. They will gather at a local restaurant with questions for Monsignor Gervasio about Confirmation and living their Catholic faith, and enjoy a little pizza at the same time!
