The reception of the Holy Eucharist for the first time is always a cherished day in the life of the faithful. Congratulations of our young first communicants who received Our Lord this weekend at the 10:30 am Mass at Saint Anthony Church and the older students at the 5:00 pm Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

This Friday we look forward to our Knight to Remember Gala! If past years are any indicator, this year’s celebration will certainly be an extraordinary celebration. We shall once again honor individuals who exemplify the faith and values that our parish upholds. I congratulate them and thank them for their inspiring witness and generosity. The Lumen Christi Cohort (OLS-SA, St. Gregory the Great, and St. Raphael-Holy Angels) is sponsoring an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin, including a full-sized replica of the shroud, display panels on the history and scientific investigations of the Shroud, and a statue of Jesus based on the three-dimensional data contained in the shroud image. The exhibit is an invitation to see and believe, as it presents what scientists, historians, and scholars have discovered through decades of research!
