Friday, June 27 is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and a World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests. Join us this Friday at Mass to honor and thank the Lord for the immensity of His love.

The month of June is singled out, in a particular way, for devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. To celebrate the Heart of Christ means to turn toward the profound center of the Person of the Savior, that center which the Bible identifies precisely as his Heart, seat of the love that has redeemed the world. ∼Pope St. John Paul II, Angelus June 24, 2002

The Holy Name Society will meet on Friday, February 21st at noon in the church library. All interested men are welcome! Seniors are most welcome Please feel free to come and observe.

The Holy Name Society (HNS) is a men’s international confraternity founded to promote reverence for the Sacred Name Jesus Christ, obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Church, and the personal sanctification of its members. The purpose of the Holy Name Society is to give honor and glory to the sacred name of Jesus Christ. The OLS-SA Holy Name Society is for the men of our parish, and meetings are held on the third Friday of the month, at noon, in the Church Library at Our Lady of Sorrows.
