Our parish First Penance celebration will be on February 28, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

The Lumen Christi Cohort (OLS-SA, St. Gregory the Great, and St. Raphael-Holy Angels) is sponsoring an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin, including a full-sized replica of the shroud, display panels on the history and scientific investigations of the Shroud, and a statue of Jesus based on the three-dimensional data contained in the shroud image. Candidates to be confirmed on March 28 will make a retreat in preparation for the reception of the sacrament on Saturday, February 21, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM in Holy Family Hall at Our Lady of Sorrows.

Our Lumen Christi Cohort (our parish, St. Gregory the Great, and St. Rapael-Holy Angels) is sponsoring an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin, during the last week of Lent before Passion Week. The exhibit is an invitation to see and believe, as it presents what scientists, historians, and scholars have discovered through decades of research! On Saturday, February 7, a morning retreat will be held for Year I (7th grade) candidates and their sponsors. The day begins with participation at our 9:00 am Mass.

The Polish Arts Club of Trenton announces the availability of $1,500 scholarships to qualified high school seniors of Polish descent, to assist in their pursuit of a college education.

The Liturgy of the Word for Children will be offered at the 11:00 Mass on January 4. All children in Grades K-4 are invited to participate. The Scriptures of the Sunday are presented in a relatable and age appropriate manner.

Our parish takes great pride in the recognition being accorded this Saturday, October 24 to Mrs. Mariyam Francis, our Director of Religious Education. Mrs. Francis will receive the Mt. Carmel Guild’s “Guild Neighbor Award” for her work to support its annual Thanksgiving Drive. We are proud of you, Mariyam!
