Sessions will be held for adults (age 16 and up) looking to convert to the Catholic faith, as well as those who were baptized Catholic but need to complete their Sacraments. Click here for more information

Our parish is starting a two-year religious formation program for children age 7-15 who were never baptized. Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm in the OLS Church basement starting September 30th. At the conclusion of the program, the children will receive their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation). Click here for more information.

An important discipline in the life of the Spirit is spiritual reading. Through spiritual reading we have some say over what enters our minds. There are so many good books about the lives of holy men and women, about remarkable examples of peace-making, about communities that bring life to the poor and the oppressed, and the spiritual life itself. This summer, try packing a good spiritual book to read on your vacation, or settle on the couch for a few moments a day with a really "good" book!

Today is the First Day of Summer…Does it matter what I wear to mass? In a word? Yes! Our choice of attire reflects the importance we place on an event. While it is certainly true that the Lord knows our hearts and that all are welcome in His House, the choices we make regarding our appearance are a way of providing a witness to our brothers and sisters that worship is important, and that the Church is no ordinary place. Give it some thought!
