Over the next few weeks, work will be undertaken to improve the sound systems of both our churches by a major electronics upgrade and speaker replacement. The cost of this project will be paid for in large part through a generous bequest recently received.
No one would want it to snow at Easter, but we would like you to recall the impact of snow of the winter season when you consider making your Easter gift to the parish. The cost of snow plowing was especially high due to multiple storms and the size of our two church and school campuses. In light of this extraordinary expense, we ask everyone to be extra generous to the parish this Easter. And we thank you!

Our parish takes great pride in the recognition being accorded this Saturday, October 24 to Mrs. Mariyam Francis, our Director of Religious Education. Mrs. Francis will receive the Mt. Carmel Guild’s “Guild Neighbor Award” for her work to support its annual Thanksgiving Drive. We are proud of you, Mariyam!
During the this weekend and next, (October 18-19 & 25-26) our Ushers will be taking “attendance” at all Masses as part of our annual “October Count.” These figures will be sent to the diocesan Office of Pastoral Planning. We trust that the counting will not be too much of a distraction to your prayer.
