On this 250th anniversary of the founding of our country, our Bishop David O'Connell, in union with all of the bishops of the United States of America, has requested that all Catholics consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Click here for the prayer of consecration.

On Friday, June 12, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we heed the appeal of the US bishops to consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in observance of the 250th birthday of our nation. Click here to find the prayers for this, and for the sanctification of all priests.

The 2026 Rosary Altar Society annual membership dues are $15. You can find the form to be completed and returned with the dues in the bulletin.

If you have a child or know of a child between the ages of 6 and 14 and would be interested in his or her baptism, we would be delighted to prepare them through a one-week program in July. Click here for more information.

If you are a practicing Catholic who is 18 years or older, comfortable communicating the truths of our faith, committed to the teachings of the Church, and willing to live out your baptismal call of service, consider becoming a Catechist! We will provide training. Click here for more information.

We invite all children ages 4 through 11 to join us on July 6 though 10 for a wonderful week of learning, fun activities, and growing in faith. Sessions are from 8 AM to 12 PM. Click here for a link to more information.

Corporate Sunday is May 3 at St. Anthony Church. The monthly meeting will be held on Monday, May 11. A Marian prayer service, May Crowning and induction of new member will begin at 7 PM in Our Lady of Sorrows Church. All are welcome. The Prayer Shawl meeting is on Monday May 18, at 1:00 PM. Thanks to those who helped organize our recent Ministry Fair, and to those who attended it! We hope those who visited came to appreciate the various organizations and ministries that keep our parish life vibrant. And we hope that some who came may have indicated their willingness to serve!

Thanks to all who visited the recent Shroud of Turin Exhibit sponsored by our “Lumen Christi Cohort.” We hope this Cohort initiative, appropriately held during Lent, inspired and educated the faithful on this extraordinary relic that reveals the extent of the Lord’s passion and death. We congratulate the fifty-one boys and girls who will be receiving the Holy Eucharist for the first time this Saturday, May 2. We thank their parents and catechists for preparing them so well for this sacred encounter.

This month's prayer shawl meeting will be held on Monday, April 20, at 1:00 PM in the Church Meeting Room. Please bring any completed projects to donate, and any extra yarn you will not be needing. We welcome new members, even if you don't yet know how to crochet. We would be happy to teach you!

Those who ordered palm crosses may pick them up on Saturday, March 14, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the garage at Our Lady of Sorrows.

The Mt. Carmel Guild Founders Day Mass will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Ewing. The celebrant is Rev. Msgr. Thomas J Mullelly, and a reception will follow the Mass.
