The Lumen Christi Cohort (OLS-SA, St. Gregory the Great, and St. Raphael-Holy Angels) is sponsoring an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin, including a full-sized replica of the shroud, display panels on the history and scientific investigations of the Shroud, and a statue of Jesus based on the three-dimensional data contained in the shroud image. Don’t forget to vote this Tuesday…a most important day for the Garden State! The Catechism (#2239) reminds us that “the duty to vote is one of co-responsibility for society… As Catholics our consciences should be specifically informed as to the greatest moral principles, so that we may vote with them in mind."
If you have made a baby blanket during Respect Life Month (October), please bring it to the church this weekend (Nov. 1-2). We will be in the Church Hall at St. Anthony Church and in Holy Family Hall at Our Lady of Sorrows Church after all Masses. We can't wait to see what you've made!
