History was made recently when Planned Parenthood and other big businesses were banned from receiving federal Medicaid dollars for a period of one year. However, Planned Parenthood sued, and a preliminary court ordered injunction was granted that requires taxpayer funding to continue. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops invites Catholics to pray daily throughout this month to end taxpayer funding of the abortion industry, invoking St. Joseph, Defender of Life. Click here for the prayer.

The Prayer Shawl group will meet this month on September 15, at 1:00 PM, in the Church Meeting Room at Our Lady of Sorrows. Knitters are also welcome! Click here for more information.
