Family to Family is an 8-session educational program for family members and friends of adults (18+) living with mental illness. Sessions will be held from October 1 to November 19 at the NAMI Mercer Center at 1235 Whilehorse-Mercerville Road, Bldg. C Ste 303. Click here for details

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the blessing of pets will be held on Sunday, October 4, at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Sorrows. Bring your pets to the garden by the elevator entrance to the church. In the event of rain on Sunday, the blessing will be moved to Monday, October 5 at 6:00 PM.

October is Respect Life Month, and once again, our parish will be making and collecting baby blankets for expectant mothers experiencing crisis pregnancies. Click here for more information.

The Rosary Altar Society is sponsoring a Day of Recollection on October 17, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Click here for details.

Due to the priests' convocation, there will be no Masses celebrated on Wednesday and Thursday of this week (September 16 & 17). However, there will be a Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion at the usual Mass times.

This weekend we celebrate our patronal feast. Liturgical norms allow the liturgy of the Memorial to replace that of a Sunday in Ordinary Time when the feast is that of a parish patron. Let us celebrate Our Lady’s Day thanking her for her past blessings and invoke her maternal intercession for the future.

This year's first meeting of the Catholic Book Club will convene on Thursday, September 24, in the Church Library at Our Lady of Sorrows. We are continuing to work our way through "Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls" by John Bergsma. Click here for more information.

St Anthony High School Class of 1976, celebrating their 50th anniversary of graduation, cordially invites all alumni and their guests to a Mass to the celebrated at Thrive Charter School (formerly St. Anthony High School) on Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 am. The parish picnic has been moved indoors due to the forecast of inclement weather! Please still join us for food and fun indoors, in Holy Family Hall (below the church), after the 11:00 Mass!

Our parish is starting the St. Carlo Acutis Program, a two-year religious formation program for children age 7-15 who were never baptized. Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm in the OLS Church basement starting September 30th. At the conclusion of the program, the children will receive their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation). Click here for more information.

Labor Day is Monday, September 7. Please join us for Holy Mass at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The parish office will be closed for the holiday on Monday.
